About Kingswood Catering, Northants

We are a family run business established in 1991, specialising in catering for the education sector.

The business began as a vision by Partner, Julie Belford, who at the time was a teacher of Home Economics at The Kingswood School in Corby. She felt the current meals offered to children within school could be of a much higher nutritional standard, with more choice, at a reasonable price to parents.... the original Jamie Oliver!

We now specialise in providing a selection of school meals, using locally sourced ingredients and have now incorporated a variety of free range and organic ingredients into our menu.

We are currently working towards the 'Food for Life Gold caterer's mark' and always ensure all our menu's comply with the current nutritional based government guidelines - please see our compliance section (located at the bottom left of the screen) for details.

We currently employ over 80 members of staff  throughout Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire, and are proud to be a registered CIEH training centre. We ensure all kitchen staff are qualified to CIEH Level 2 Food safety standards, with all cooks being trained to NVQ Level 2, 3, or City and Guilds 'Cookery For The Catering Industry' level. You will also be happy to know we ensure all staff who work within a school have current CRB documentation.

Corby Borough Council recently invited us to attend the launch of their new 'Scores On The Doors' certification scheme. We were invited to attend as the top '5 Star Large Business Caterer' in Corby. We are very proud of our award and intend to keep hold of it!!!
